Lately, I find that people who buy cameras online, Air Miles or garage sales do not get what they pay for.
Make sure that everything that you need to enjoy your camera is in the box. Better yet ASK before you buy. Some have paid hundreds of dollars and found out that there is no battery for the camera. One person got the camera body and no len. If you buy from Air Miles make sure the warrenty card is with the camera. If there is a problem that card will save a lot head aches. It does help to have a manual or guide with your online purchase.
In the long run we all take our chances with anything but make sure that you know ahead of time buy asking and document it so you can have a leg to stand on if the camera in not working because they sent wrong acessories for a different camera.
One more thing make sure the camera is 'new' and does not need a media that is not used any more. Buy a camera that uses a SD card.
